The lifespan of a BESS depends on battery chemistry, cycle life, operating temperature, depth of discharge, charging strategy, maintenance, and system design. Many LFP-based systems are designed for long-term operation, but actual lifespan should be evaluated based on the product specification, warranty, and expected usage profile.
Basically, LFP batteries about 6,000-12,000 cycles,SOH>70%. Sodium ion batteries about 15,000 cycles, SOH>70%. Base on standard testing conditions.
